About MediaSoftware, the iGaming industry magazine

What MediaSoftware covers, how its B2B and player sections are kept apart, how the magazine is funded and who to contact at the editorial desk.

MediaSoftware is a magazine about the products that make online gaming work: the platforms and APIs behind a casino lobby, the studios that build the games, the sportsbooks that price the matches, and the casinos where players finally meet all of it. The site went live in October 2026.

What we cover

The magazine is split into four sections, and they are deliberately kept apart.

  • Software looks at game aggregators, casino platforms and integration APIs from the point of view of an operator who has to pick one. We look at catalogue size, the cost of getting started, how the API behaves, payment and crypto support, and what the back office lets a team do on a Tuesday afternoon.
  • Studios covers game developers: their portfolios, the mechanics they bring to market, how widely their games are distributed and how well they run on a phone.
  • Sportsbook covers betting engines and odds feeds, including esports, for operators who want to add sport to a casino or build a betting product from scratch.
  • Casinos is the only section written for players. It reviews online casinos on games, welcome offers, payments, mobile apps, support and withdrawals.

Alongside the four sections, Guides explain topics that cut across the industry, and News records dated product announcements and industry events.

How MediaSoftware is funded

MediaSoftware has commercial relationships with SoftAggregator, Nocturn Play, Nocturn Sport and several online casinos. These brands appear in our reviews, rankings and comparisons, and some links to them earn the magazine money. Links of that kind are marked as sponsored in the page code.

What that relationship does not change: every brand, ours or not, is scored on the grid published on our methodology page, a brand has one score across the whole site, and that score is never sold. Where a brand has a commercial link with the magazine, its review states it. The full rules are on the editorial policy page.

Who writes MediaSoftware

Articles are produced by the MediaSoftware editorial desk. We sign pages collectively rather than under individual bylines, and every page carries the date of its last update.

Frequently asked questions

When was MediaSoftware launched?

MediaSoftware went live in October 2026 at mediasoftware.net, with English as its first language and translations planned afterwards.

Does MediaSoftware have commercial relationships with the brands it covers?

Yes. The magazine has commercial relationships with SoftAggregator, Nocturn Play, Nocturn Sport and several online casinos. Those brands are reviewed on the same published scoring grid as everyone else and their pages say so.

Why are the B2B and player sections separate?

An operator choosing a game aggregator and a player choosing a casino ask different questions. Software, studios and sportsbook pages are written for buyers of technology; the casinos section is written for players.

How can I reach the editors?

Write to [email protected]. Corrections, data updates and partnership requests all go to that address.
