MediaSoftware editorial policy

How MediaSoftware sources facts, dates its updates, handles corrections and marks commercial links, and why no review score on the site can be bought.

This page sets out the rules the MediaSoftware editorial desk works by. They apply to every section, from software reviews to casino rankings.

Sources

  • Brand sources. Product facts such as catalogue size, currencies, apps or welcome offers come from the brand’s official website, documentation or back office, as they stood on the date shown on the page.
  • Testing. Where we can try a product ourselves, such as opening a game, signing up for API keys or checking a cashier, we say what we tested.
  • Public announcements. News items rely on dated public announcements or on product changes we can see live.
  • What we leave out. Claims we cannot check are not published. When a competitor’s figure is not on its own website, it does not appear on ours.

Dated updates

Every page shows an “updated” date. When a fact changes, the page is edited and the date moves. News items keep their original publication date; if a news item is later corrected, the correction is noted at the end of the article.

Corrections

Errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed. Send the page address, the statement you believe is wrong and a source to [email protected]. If a correction changes a criterion, the score on the review is re-checked and the review is re-dated. Minor fixes such as typos are made without a note.

Commercial relationships

MediaSoftware has commercial relationships with SoftAggregator, Nocturn Play, Nocturn Sport and several online casinos. This is stated on the about page, in the site footer and on the reviews of those brands.

  • Links that can earn the magazine money are marked rel="sponsored" in the page code.
  • Those brands are scored on the same published methodology as every other brand in their section.
  • No score is sold. A company cannot pay for a review, a higher score or a better position in a ranking. Rankings explain each position in plain words.

Language and tone

Articles are written for professionals and players who want facts they can act on. We avoid unsupported superlatives in our own copy. Ranking titles such as “Best casino game aggregators 2026” describe what readers search for; the order inside them follows the published criteria.

Bylines

Pages are signed by the MediaSoftware editorial desk rather than by named individuals.

Frequently asked questions

Where does MediaSoftware get its facts?

From a brand's own website and documentation, from what can be tested directly, and from dated public announcements. If a fact cannot be checked, it is not published.

How are commercial links marked?

Links that can earn MediaSoftware money carry the rel="sponsored" attribute, and brands with a commercial relationship with the magazine say so on their review.

How do I report an error?

Email [email protected] with the page address, the statement in question and a public source for the correct fact. Corrections are dated on the page.
