7.8/10

Verdict. A young sportsbook that prices its own odds and speaks crypto natively, worth a look for casino-first operators who can live with a pre-match-led product while in-play matures.

MediaSoftware has a commercial relationship with this brand. It is scored on the same published grid as every other brand.

Strengths

  • Odds are priced in-house rather than copied from the market, with the margin set per operator
  • 73 currencies in its public currency list, 13 of them crypto, including USDT, BTC in mBTC and SATS units, SOL and TON
  • White label front end or API-only, plus a back office to suspend events, override odds and set limits
  • Integration can run through SoftAggregator, so one connection covers casino games and the sportsbook

Weak points

  • In-play pricing is described by the brand itself as in development, outside between-map esports betting
  • Track record measured in months, not years
  • Prices are on request only, with no public rate card

Most sportsbooks that reach a new casino operator are a skin on someone else’s odds. Nocturn Sport takes the opposite route: it prices its own markets, then sells the result as an API, a pre-match feed or a finished white label front end. That choice explains both its appeal and its current limits.

Disclosure: MediaSoftware has a commercial relationship with Nocturn Sport. The score follows the same sportsbook grid as every other entry.

What the product is

Nocturn Sport is sportsbook software aimed at online casinos and betting sites. An operator can take it in three shapes:

  • White label: a desktop and mobile front end under the operator’s brand.
  • API-only: odds snapshot and versioned deltas, bet placement with request IDs, bet history and player balance.
  • Odds feed: the pre-match sports, tournaments, events, markets and outcomes, without the front end.

Behind all three sits a back office where the operator can suspend events, override odds, settle markets, watch liability and set limits. Integration can also go through SoftAggregator, which lets a casino that already takes games from that aggregator add the sportsbook over the same connection.

The odds engine

The distinctive part is pricing. According to the brand’s information site, football, ice hockey and baseball are modelled with goal or run distributions, basketball, American football and rugby with points models, and esports, tennis and MMA with Elo ratings. The football model was fitted on 10,783 past matches and tested on 1,973 later matches it had not seen; the basketball model on 8,665 and 1,712. The margin is applied in proportion to each outcome’s probability, at a level set per operator.

For an operator this means prices that do not simply mirror the big books. It also means the operator is trusting a young pricing team rather than market consensus, and the back office’s manual override tools matter accordingly.

Esports

Three titles are covered: Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2 and League of Legends. For League of Legends series the markets are winner, map handicap ±1.5, total maps and correct score across Bo1, Bo3 and Bo5. Live betting between maps is described for some titles, which suits esports, where the gap between maps is a natural betting window.

Currencies and languages

This is where the brand scores highest on our grid. The public currency endpoint lists 73 currencies, 13 of them crypto, with bitcoin available in BTC, mBTC and SATS units so small stakes stay readable. The product runs in 32 languages, including Arabic and Persian.

Where it falls short

In-play coverage is the obvious gap: outside between-map esports, live pricing is still listed as in development. Bets are singles and accumulators of up to 10 selections, one per event, with no bet builder mentioned. And the operator base is new, so references are thin.

Verdict

At 7.8, Nocturn Sport sits below the long-established feed suppliers on coverage and scale, but ahead of them for an operator whose players deposit in crypto and who wants a sportsbook tab without building one. See the Nocturn Sport sportsbook.

Frequently asked questions

Where do Nocturn Sport's odds come from?

The brand says it prices them with its own statistical models: Elo ratings for esports, tennis and MMA, Poisson goal models for football, ice hockey and baseball, and normal points models for basketball, American football and rugby. It does not take a third-party odds feed.

Which cryptocurrencies does Nocturn Sport support?

Its public currency list at nocturnsport.com/api/currencies shows 13 crypto codes: USDT, USDC, BTC, mBTC, SATS, ETH, LTC, TRX, DOGE, SOL, XRP, BNB and TON, alongside 60 fiat currencies.

Can an operator take only the odds and keep its own front end?

Yes. Nocturn Sport offers an API-only route with a pre-match odds feed (full snapshot plus versioned deltas), bet placement, bet history and balance calls, as well as a ready white label front end.

Does Nocturn Sport offer live betting?

Pre-match is the core today, with markets closing one minute before the start. Its esports page describes live betting between maps for some titles, while broader in-play pricing is listed as in development.

How much does Nocturn Sport cost?

The brand publishes no price list; pricing is on request and depends on the set-up an operator chooses.
